Aisling Jarvis is a singer/songwriter from Dublin, Ireland.
She comes from a prolific musical family; her mother is Moya Brennan of Clannad. Apart from her solo work writing and performing as well as her work as a studio engineer; she is a permanent member of Moya Brennan's band and has toured extensively in Europe and the USA. She has also featured on numerous studio albums for a wide range of artists.
Aisling plays the guitar, bouzouki, uilleann pipes, keyboards and percussion - to which she adds her unique voice.
In the winter months of 2013, Aisling started production on her debut album "A Handful of Bad Ideas", and was released in September 2014. Since then she has built an audience both at home in Ireland and abroad.
Aisling has performed solo sets at Glastonbury Festival, New York City, Germany, as well as supporting Clannad on a UK tour. She has also performed at many venues and events throughout Ireland including Whelans, Swell Festival, Earagail Arts Festival, and Workman's Club, to name but a few.
2015 found Aisling back in the studio, with her mother Moya Brennan, co-writing, recording and producing the musical score for future TV animation series Prisoner Zero (due for release early summer 2016).
It set to be an exciting year for Aisling in 2016, with the release of Prisoner Zero, but also with the planning and recording of her second studio album beginning in February.
