Alan Marshall is a Vocalist, Songwriter, multi Instrumentalist and music Producer from Dublin Ireland.
A new departure saw him recently complete the recording of his second studio album entitled ‘A Beautiful Brawl’ due for release in May of 2018.
Recording took place in Dublin’s Loop Studio and was co-produced alongside Gareth Desmond. The rootsy Folk influenced album sees him collaborate with some of Ireland’s finest musicians as well as a very special guest appearance from The Pogues Bassist & Vocalist Cait O’Riordan.
Alan released his first studio album entitled ‘Suilven Heights’ in 2012 which was recorded in Hellfire studio and co-produced alongside Joe McGrath & Billy Hudson. The album was well received on the circuit and drew positive comments from media circles.
During this period he also worked alongside local Songsmith Mark O’Sullivan providing Bass & Vocals as well as co-production of Mark’s album and solo project ‘Goatboy’.
Alan was a founding member of Glasgow based band The Aerials. They recorded 2 EP’s in Gravity & Maybank Studios with many live shows around Scotland.
Prior to writing his own material Alan honed his stage craft to audiences across Europe as he fronted a highly acclaimed tribute act to the Stone Roses who toured extensively for a decade.
