From Wicklow but frequently caught saying her heart is from Clare, the home of traditional Irish music, in the West Coast of Ireland, where she found her voice as a singer-songwriter. With a love for expression, creativity, community, collaboration and heritage, Aoibheann’s influences are vast and varied. From rocksteady, roots and ska to folk, punk, rock and blues. Having spent a good part of her life between the West Coast of Ireland and the Basque Country, you may find her lyrics tapping into ancient languages that sound unfamiliar on the first listen.
