Barry Devine

Barry Devine is a new Dublin-based artist with a no-frills attitude toward lyrics and melodies. He is part of a very musical family; his father being lead guitarist for 60's show bands such as The Heartbeats and The Arrows; his uncle being the drummer of the 'nearly made it' Dublin based band, Dead Ringer who were big in the 80's and early 90's; his cousin was the lead singer of the very popular 90's band, Lir; and his brother Colin Devine is one of the hottest DJs doing the rounds in Dublin City at the moment. Barry has been playing abroad in recent years and has only just made it to the studio to record his first album, which is still untitled. His music takes influence from artists such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Bon Iver.
