Amie Grendon and Seán Fox set up Between//Roads (B//R), a band
focused on the creation of original music in 2018.
B//R developed its chemistry and style, prioritizing a more eclectic and electric indie sound. The final line up was completed by the addition of Dan Noonan, Wes Smith & Emma Donnelly. In 2019 they recorded 'All Who Wander,’ their debut EP. Its title track and lead single
garnered a significant amount of airplay across Ireland. Upon its release, it helped the band
secure a busy gigging schedule, including support slots with State lights (Shobsy) up until the end of
2019. A highlight of this series of concerts was playing a sold-out show in Whelans under the promotion of MCD.
This momentum was bolstered by the band securing a slot at
the Saltwater festival, however, unfortunately covid put an end to these plans. In 2021 their track" Blue Eyes" gained attention from Irish music critic Tony Clayton Lea who called the track an 'ear worm'. Praise from 2FM Dan Hegarty of 2fm and Kieran McGuinness of Nova gave the band the push they needed to get back into the studio to record their most recent track ~ Burden.
