Bianca Fachel

Bianca Fachel is an artist from Brazil currently living in Ireland and developing several projects, partnerships in music and her original songs. She performed at various events in her city Porto Alegre, South of Brazil, around Ireland and abroad. Last performances were in Montreux Jazz Festival, Sligo Jazz Festival, Shawbrook Dance School, Bray Jazz Festival, Dublin Peace Festival, Havana Club Festival, Busking (music street art) in Ireland, Brazil, Germany and Switzerland. Bianca’s debut EP titled ”An Overseas Dream” was a collaborative recording produced and recorded by her and her friend guitar player Djâmen Farias, also from the same born place as her. The EP was released in the Summer of 2015. In summer 2017, directors from the Irish Featured Movie "Writing Home" choose two of Bianca's originals songs "Keep on Moving" and "The way back home". "Writing Home" was nominated best Irish Movie, Best First Irish Movie and Best Movie by the public at the 29th Galway Film Fleah Cinema Festival. In November 2018, she is launching her new single "The Way Back Home".
She is currently studying her great passion, piano. Her friend and piano tutor, teacher, composer and arranger, Turi Collura accumulates an extensive career in the qualities of instrumentalist and musical educator. Graduated in Music Studies in Italy with emphasis on musical education (University of Bologna) and Jazz at the Civic Jazz School (Milan).
Bianca Fachel's compositions tends to keep ears open to music from other countries, emphasize medium volumes, and break down boundaries creating a folk, soul jazz style with many influences from Bossa Nova, African Music and Irish Traditional Music.
