Blaskets

Blaskets is the electronic focused project of
producer and artist Fionn Tobin.
Formerly primary songwriter of Happyalone. (who’s
experimental and genre-less theory bagged them
underground notoriety and a collaboration with
metal behemoths Bring Me The Horizon) Tobin’s
new project Blaskets aim’s to focus on a more club
orientated feel.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of
influences the new direction sees Tobin gather all
his influences, rock, industrial, pop and dance
music into a melting pot in an attempt to turn the
results into finalised pieces of art.
By trying to push the boundaries of electronic
music, Tobin uses many techniques to create this
immersive sonic universe. Vocals fed into guitar
pedals or synths turned into drum machines, a
unique sound is the primary focus of Tobin's music.
The Blaskets live shows aim to be an immersive
audio/visual experience taking the viewer on a
spiritual journey through sound. Low frequency
basses to rattle the audience's body is a must.
