It was the year where everything seemed to fall into place for the first time. Our understanding of it took 2nd place and clichés became our everyday. We couldn’t just look, we wanted to see more. The feeling of sharing can top any excitement when done this way. When done right. Music, places, tastes – these were our diet, we had never known better. We made street names into song, smells became musical and you had your own song. I gave it to you.
We’d always be honest, this was the way we’d survive. We talked about this, we both agreed.
Standing next to each other one would note there was nothing between us. No space, no light. But it was these missing elements that made up our core.
Between us there was nothing.
Between us was everything.
And we did survive, just for that year.
