Colin O'Shea

Dublin singer/songwriter Colin O'Shea ditched his 9-5 to purse his music dreams, returning to the scene in 2022 with a fresh bag of exciting tunes and the first out of the traps was his single 'Hollywood On Fire' released 30th Sept 2022. This 80's feel electro pop tune, received "Track of the Day" from the prestigious Hot Press Magazine. Soon followed by four further singles from the songsmith, each demonstrating Colin’s progressive musical development since his debut album.

His highly anticipated sophomore album titled “Bright Yellow Shiny Gold” dropped on July 7th 2023 to widespread praise. Described as an "Impressive sophomore effort from rising artist", with O'Shea having an "expressive, Bono-in-need-of-Benylin voice". It received an album score of 8/10 from the infamous Hot Press.

O’Shea, a Ballyfermot Rock School graduate and current student of the Pulse College of music production, has received flattering comparisons to Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Randy Newman and U2. One to surely watch in the coming future!
