dave first emerged on the original music scene in 2009 when he showcased and released his debut album "this is my home" at dublin's prestigous sugar club. this critically acclaimed singer/songwriter's title track reached no.3 in the downloadmusic's.ie 7-day charts. dave is renowned for writing very catchy, melodic tunes. his writing seems to catch the relativity of everyday living, nicely brought together with in depth lyrics, and great melodies. an outstanding live performer,dave has graced many of the great stages in ireland such as, the point depot, the cork opera house, the marquis cork, crawdaddy and many venues throughout europe and stateside, and has received rave reviews from every corner.
his 2nd album "if it aint broke" was released in the spring of 2011 to critical acclaim, with one of the tracks "she's not here" reaching the finals of the national song contest, which subsequently went on to be his first single release from his second album.
dave is currently in studio recording his third album entitled "the entertainer" and will be due for release in the spring of 2012.
certainly one to watch for the future.
