Releasing their debut cut in late 2014, 'Gift Above' was Dublin trio, Dear Desert's impassioned take on future romantic soul pop. Atmospheric and electronic in approach, their songs are a mixture of sparse synths, detailed sounds and the intimacy of Brendan Millar's confessional soulful vocals. Nodding to the work of artists such as Talk Talk, David Bowie, and The Blue Nile but never wallowing in what has already been made, Dear Desert are carving a sound of they own.
