Disconcerting P the moniker of Padraig McCauley.
Described by McCauley as "Crayon Folk", the music has an innocence and simplicity to it on the aesthetic level. However, there is maturity in the lyrics that give the song a validity of their own. A lover of fine songwriting and a prolific writer himself, McCauley's music has a respectful hint of nostalgia to it - substantiated with an incessant sense of humor and playfulness.
Now with a live band, Disconcerting P is currently promoting his newest album Shakin', which can be downloaded for free via Bandcamp.
