Originally inspired by East Clare’s ‘Transformer Sounds’ and ‘Mindscape’ soundsystems who both run events based around dance music, Teknonotice began playing underground techno to suit the free party atmosphere found there. For the first year Teknonotice built up a strong collection of Techno and Acid Techno that resonated well with party goers in Clare.

By year two Teknonotice had spread further a field and was invited to ‘S.K.E’and their event ‘Harvest Bounce’ where he ended up playing 3 times over the weekend. He also appeared in Galway with ‘Seismic Raves’ and ‘Initium’ laying down the late night techno at both. Having strong influences in the Drum & Bass world such as DJs ‘Mooney’ & ‘Evasion’, Teknonotice started playing a mixture of Reggae and minimal Drum & Bass which brought him to a new style of event and was well received. Collaborations with Dj/Producer ‘Epiphet’ lead to creation of ‘Acid Reflux Radio’ where they hosted online radio shows in Minimal Techno, Acid Techno, Hard Tekno, Drum & Bass, Jungle & Reggae. Through organising the radio shows Teknonotice & Epiphet played alongside a wide variety of Djs included the London techno scene’s Chris Liberator, John Rowe, Benji303, Mobile Dogwash & More.

Towards the end of 2013 collaborations with Dj ‘Nesbit’ began Teknonotice’ sound production and lead to releases with ‘Audio Eargasm Records’ as well as a collection of un-releases productions.
2014 brought with it a development in song production as Teknonotice invested in his first analog gear (Drum Machine, Synth, Vocal Processor, Kaossilator) and computer software. He then started ‘Open Source Records’ as a label that gives away all it’s releases for free and began releasing tracks from various Djs in his network.

By mid 2014 Teknonotice had playing alongside a lot of influencial Djs and was being asked to play at events all over Ireland. At Electric Picnic Teknonotice was asked to play on a small stage in the Trailer Park and ended up playing for over 3 hours as the crowd seemed to continue growing far beyond the small stage’s capacity. The set was a mixture of Electro Swing and Miminal Techno and having seen the response, Teknonotice slowed down somehwat on playing heavy techno at events and instead going for Electro Swing, Reggae and Drum & Bass.

For the first time at Elysian Circus (Mainstage, Cregg Castle Galway) Teknonotice mixed 3 or 4 genre’s together to bring the crowd on a journey “no longer will I limit himself to one genre” he said “I’m going to adapt every set I play for the crowd infront of me”.
Late 2014 saw an invitation to Galway’s ‘Puzzle Events’ playing Drum & Bass and is now part of the crew having played alongside Galway's Zenji, Seriaz, Phunty, Ziggahurt, Mooney and more.

April 18th saw Teknonotice visit Acidic Sound System in Bristol at their 13th year celebration. As well as this, the new record label called 'Open Source Records' has been a focus as various artists come together to offer free releases every week. https://soundcloud.com/open-source-records

Highlights
Halloween 2013 – Late night back to back set with Dj ‘The Pimp’ at a free party in East Clare with Mindscape Soundsystem.

New Years Eve 2013 – Teknonotice opened for Acid Techno Legend Chris Liberator and swapped over as the new year came in.

Electric Picnic 2014 – Being asked to continue playing for an extra two hours and having such an overwhelmingly good response.

Elysian Circus 2014 – After hours of the same music being played and the crowd calling out for something different, Teknonotice totally changed it up bringing a mix of Swing, Techno and Drum & Bass.
