This idea started way back in 2016 on a cruise ship, where Heartbeat’s main melody just came to me out of nothing while changing in the gym. It took quite a while to make it happen, didn’t it?

I knew straight away that musically I wanted to blend a few extremities together. Acoustic and electronic instruments, melody and rap, as well as some pretty large dynamic differences that’s usually found in heavier music… while still keeping some nice cohesion. My idea with all this was to create something that can be felt in both big stadiums and deep in the hearts of listeners. I hope it works out!
