Etcha
Starting out playing Jawbreaker covers, etcha emerged when we began writing original material at the end of 2007. After spending nearly a year finding and fine-tuing our own musical style, we began playing gigs around Dublin and North Co. Wicklow. In July 2009 we released a full length demo, Childhood, which was recorded with Eoin Whitfield and James Eager at the Hive Studios in Kilcoole, as well as with Matt Dempsey in Killiney. Influenced by many of our favourite bands, ranging from Big Star to Lemuria to Jawbreaker, we are getting ready to release our new EP, Never Weaken, in Autumn 2010 through Toast Office Records, with an album to follow in 2011.
