Eve Buckley

Born and raised in Dublin Ireland, there has been much talk in and about the industry about this young performer who is frequently appearing on stage with renowned artists including Mary Black and Mary Coughlan.
Her songwriting would be inspired by the likes of Birdy, Joni Mitchell and Stevie Nicks. Through her storytelling, Eve displays raw and emotive lyrics and melodies about her life and people around her. The lyrics in her songs are just as important as the melodies she writes.

She has also performed in major venues such as the Pavillion and the 3 Olympia.
Last October she was invited to perform at the celebrated Creative Connexions festival in Sitges, where her beautiful performances made a lasting impression on their significant international audience.
Eve's Debut single "Out of the Light" which was released March 22nd has been described by Hot Press as 'a remarkably crafted debut and builds into a specular cathartic crescendo. It's a bold way for the artist to introduce herself to the world'. There is much more to come this year as well as her upcoming gig on 9th April will take place in Whelans Upstairs and will be a night not to be missed!
