Famine

Famine is Ian Kelly, Lee Byrne, Stephen Cruise, Robbie Kirwan and Jonathan Boyce. The band formed in Dublin, Ireland at the end of 2006 and in July 2007 under the name of Forging Friendships they released their first 5 track CD, Life at This Speed, on local Dublin label Half Shell Records. The end of 2008 saw the band join the Hurry UP! Records roster. The "Every Road Leads Back Here" LP was released in May 2009.

After a long break the band are currently finishing up writing an as yet untitled LP. Looking to record the LP in March with a release soon after, the new record promises to blow everything the band has ever done out of the water. Keep an eye out.
