Fear Stalks The Land!

Fear Stalks The Land! began as the solo project of Cork musician Shaun Fitzgerald. After releasing three self-produced EPs online for free download between November 2009 and December 2010, popular demand forced these compositions to be brought to the stage. Fitzgerald enlisted the help of friend and fellow musician Darragh Kearns-Hayes to help make this a reality. Their live shows were met with warm reception and since then the pair has built upon the recorded material, developing new arrangements and creating a dynamic live experience. To complement this experience the duo has welcomed Daniel Valle of ‘Beastmen’ and ‘Horsemen Pass By’ fame to the family. He accompanies performances with live projections which have become an integral part of the FSTL! experience as much of their music is of a cinematic nature. The newly released EP "Myra" is their first collaborative effort, and features a diverse collection of songs. It demonstrates a broad range of instruments and arrangements whilst maintaining the unique electronic soundscapes of previous releases.

Their music blends punchy electronic beats, distorted guitar and melodic bass lines with broad synth soundscapes and has been described as Post-Electronic, Post-Rock… Post-Everything.
