F L E C K S are Freya Monks and Scott Halliday, a Dublin based synth-pop duo. They have been writing songs together since 2012, sharing their love of writing and production. Their music is heavily inspired by 80's movies, classic synth-pop and dark, atmospheric film scores.

In 2016, Flecks released their debut EP entitled ‘Girl’, which was recorded, produced and mixed in their studio in Dublin. It was greatly received, gaining national radio play and landing a placement in RTÉ’s thrilling drama ‘Striking Out’, with their track ‘Objects of Desire’.

From September 2018, Flecks plan to release four new singles. The first one being ‘Samurai’, which was premiered by Dan Hegarty on 2FM’s ‘The Alternative’. Samurai releases on September 30th and will be available to stream or purchase.
