Freddy Black & The Hotel Mosaic

Freddy Black & The Hotel Mosaic are the outcome of gently stitching together various individuals from a wide range of backgrounds to form a fluid ever changing canvas of musical expression.

They are an eclectic ensemble of artists, with a vast differentiation of influence style and experience. With no single genre to carry and pigeonhole them, their sounds exude elements of jazz, spoken word, hip hop, and blues to name a few.

The members who originated in Hawaii, Scotland, Donegal, Wexford, and Dublin primarily came together after meeting at an open mic in Maynooth, Co Kildare. Quite quickly they realised they have the elements for a unique and exciting sound.

Having played Venues such as the Workman’s Club, The Cobblestone and The International Bar within the first six months of their inception they are already proving their worth and can certainly get the crowd moving and singing along with their original tracks.
