GENMA

GENMA is a four-piece indie-alternative noise rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. Formed in early 2022, the band met whilst in the third year of their undergraduate course in BIMM Dublin. With each member drawing upon varying influences: Gilla Band, THUMPER, Sonic Youth, The Murder Capital, The Beths, Radiohead etc. They claim their sound is best described as a 'Wall of sound meeting a sea breeze'.

They have had a successful first year having performed to packed out rooms across Dublin and Cork throughout the second half of 2022, and early 2023, sharing the stage with incredibly talented Irish bands such as Nerves, Wynona Bleach, Virgins, Bannered Mare, Search Results and many more.
