I'm a professional singer and I provide quality live music with a top class sound system and lighting. My song lists are tailored to suit each individual event and venue and varies from a popular mix of lively Swing, Bossa Nova and Pop to Easy Listening and sophisticated Jazz. I cater for Weddings (Pre Dinner Entertainment), Champagne Receptions, Corporate Functions, Parties, Private Events, and Hotel or Restaurant venues.
At 14 I was a finalist in the “All Ireland Teenage Songwriter of the Year Competition.”
At 16 I won the “St. Michael's Secondary School Talent Contest” with one of my original songs.
At 18 I sang in Ireland’s “National Song Contest” when Johnny Logan went on to win Eurovision.
I began singing professionally, while still at school, when Liam Harrison, "Give it a lash Jack”, asked me to join his band, “Fantasy” and since then I’ve performed with many well known Jazz and Pop bands.
In 2005 I turned solo artist.
In April 2006 I released a cover album, “Favourite Songs Collection”. The album was featured as “Album of the Week” on Dundalk 100FM and Tipperary Mid West Radio.
I was chosen to represent Ireland at “The Baltic Song Festival Final", 2010, in Sweden, where I performed 2 of my original songs.
In 2012 my highlight was writing with 3X Grammy Award Nominated, No. 1 Hit Songwriter and dear friend, Pamela Phillips Oland who’s songs have been covered by Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston, to name but a few.
Songwriting has always been my number one passion and my current album, “This Is the Life for Me”, is my Debut Original Album. It got me signed to the UK Record Label Right Recordings. It contains my songs “Let Love” which received an award at the Glinsk Song Contest 2008, “You’re The One” which was song of the week on RTE Radio 1 2010 after I performed it live on the Pat Kenny Show and “Cry My Way To Freedom”, a song I wrote as a tribute to Nelson Mandela RIP and which is the single from the album. The accompanying video was shot in London 2008. While recording this album, I received ongoing advice, direction and critique from Ireland’s most respected songwriter Jimmy MacCarthy. I describe this second album as “an adult pop album with lyrical emphasis on life, love and freedom.”
