Half Man Part Bicycle

Dole queue bums with a penchant for the rock and roll dream, Half Man Part Bicycle was conceived on Sept 10/10 when by divine decree, the 5 future bandmates independently and unknowingly convened on the bridge of Montrereau to pay harmonious homage on the anniversary of the late Duke of Burgundy. (AKA John the Fearless, inventor of the searing guitar solo)

Using a unique blend of alternative - funk - punk emanating from the catacombs of Mother Rock, HMPB have since been focusing their palate to new depths of musical debauchery. Continuing on from their inaugural gig held in the Camden Palace Hotel in April 11, they have been beguiling audiences with sounds best described by Feminist Weekly as “ A hot blonde with a big bouncing booty rockin' a serious set of weapons.

Half Man Part Bicycle are a band that are both confrontational and energetic with a take no prisoners approach to every gig . Already having played all of Cork cities well know known gig venues and with a first festival performance @ Indiependance 2012 successfully behind them, they are quietly building themselves towards making a big splash outside the peoples republic in the near future.
