Jessica James

Hey my names Jessica James and I’m a 16 year old singer songwriter from Newry County Down. I’ve been writing and performing music since I was 13 and have wrote an array of original songs to date. I would describe my genre as alt pop, which heavily features acoustic elements. Some of my notable accolades are a finalist in the Irish Youth Music Awards 2018 representing Newry for best song, I was also shortlisted for the semi finals of the Soloist Ireland 2018. Recently I was a finalist in Volume Controls Clash of the Newbreeds 2019, in association with Oh Yeah Music Centre, I was also a Semi Finalist in the Panarts young singer songwriter of the year 2020. Over the years I’ve played at countless venues, must notably Sunflower festival 2018 and Dalriada Festival 2019.
