Kampala

Kampala are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Dublin and Kildare, Ireland. Bringing their own blend of a mixture of melodic and aggressive beat heavy rock. It feels new but with mileage, hooky but with complexity.

Kangaroo is the fourth single from Irish Alternative Trio. Kampala. It’s a mature mid-tempo epic that looks at the power of relationships, the nature of justice, control, and how ideologies can be stretched in favour of personal interest.

Kangaroo is the third of 3 songs recorded in 2023 with Yannick Bernhardt at Vibesbuilder Studios in Dusseldorf. Kampala headed for Germany to record in March to try and soak up some of the sounds of their influences who have recorded there. The results were really positive.
