Kastane

Kastane is an electronic music project by Irish producer and drummer Alan Walsh, which began as a side project in Berlin while he was touring with another electronic act. He first performed his tracks using a silent disco rig on the street. None of the headphones got stolen, it was a success!

He soon continued to experiment and improvise with his live performances, which include live sequencing, drumming, and melodic percussion.

His newest material focuses on creating layered and evolving tracks with a strong rhythm. His influences include IDM, french house, and minimal techno.

He released his debut Tunnels EP in 2017, followed by Trang EP in 2018.
