Hello! My name is Khrystyna, and I came to Ireland from Ukraine as a refugee. I've been living here for almost 2.5 years now. During my time in Ireland, I have been inspired by the beautiful nature and the kindness of the people. This inspiration has rekindled my passion for music, leading me to create songs that reflect my experiences and the beauty I find in this country.
Music is a universal language that I speak fluently, and it has been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been writing music since childhood, dedicating myself to my craft, and I believe my passion for music is truly inspiring. I write songs in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, and most of my compositions are in sheet music form, waiting to be brought to life.
Recently, I was honored to be a finalist for the John Richardson Residency Award 2024 with my song "The Night Echo." This recognition has further fueled my belief that creators who love what they do can always find a way to touch listeners' hearts.
In addition to my personal musical journey, I have opened the Children Emotional Center in Donegal, where I share my passion for music and teach children how to play, fostering their emotional and creative growth.
I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to connecting with the vibrant musical community in Ireland.
