Kristof Robert

Kristof Robert is a singer-songwriter based in Carrick-on-Suir, Ireland, originally hailing from Orléans, France. His love for music began when he received his first guitar as a Christmas present from his father's factory. Since then, the guitar has been his faithful companion. In the late 90s, Kristof joined the group "Au Lit Les Mômes," where he played original songs and folk music from Ireland and Quebec with great friends.

A few months before the new millennium, he moved to Carrick-on-Suir, Ireland, where he immersed himself in local music sessions and honed his craft. The first song he wrote was even shortlisted in an Imro competition, marking the beginning of his musical journey.

In 2020, Kristof released his debut album "Nice Place," featuring 10 original tracks. Collaborating with talented friends like Gay Brazel, Mick Grace, Cormac Hennessy, Ano, Paddy Flynn, and Stephane Lefort, the album takes listeners on a journey through gentle and relaxed melodies, feverish jives, and nostalgic “mem’ries knocking on your shoulder”.

Not only is the music remarkable, but the artwork by Rita O'Dwyer on the album cover and sleeve notes is simply stunning.
