Land Lovers are a band from Dublin who have released 2 full-length albums, 1 EP and 1 split LP with Limerick's Windings. One of the things they do, as founder members of the Popical Island collective, is to help with its various undertakings, like arranging the monthly Popicalia night and assisting with other releases. They have had songs on both Popical Island compilations and singer Padraig Cooney wrote The High Line, a Christmas single by The Popical Island Showband (an 18-piece 'wall of sound'). They've played at Electric Picnic, Body & Soul and Forbidden Fruit. They've also been the unloved crowd-fluffers for an assortment of international luminaries, including Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, The Mantles, Nodzz, and The Wave Pictures.
Both Land Lovers albums and an EP are available at landloversmusic.bandcamp.com.
