Born in Brixton,South London & raised in an unfamiliar Irish town called Kilrush, Nathan Kelleher (Lil' Nate) is an unsigned Hip-Hop artist/songwriter who now resides in East Sussex. Influenced by Old School Hip-Hop, Reggae and Soul music, he creates his own style of reality rap reflecting on what truly matters most to him and important factors of life. His lyrical ability is prolific the way his cadence matches up with his laid back unique delivery.
Lil' Nate has been played on BBC radio South on numerous occasions, twice been invited on the BBC Live Lounge in Brighton and twice received BBC Music 6 airplay as well as being handpicked in the top 3 unsigned artists of the month by BBC South in August 2017 so he is consistently attracting attention from all the right places. Hosting his 1st Hip-Hop Showcase in May’18 along with another in October that same year, Lil' Nate is constantly looking to perform live and promote unsigned talent.
2019 has seen Lil' Nate perform at his first ever music festival as part of Hastings FatTuesday, play at theo2 Academy – Islington,collaborateon a 19track album with Go For It Records and its many affiliates as well as achieve his debut article on Niji Magazine.
On the 13th of December 2019 he put out a five track EP titled ‘Step On The Scene’ with rapper/producer and founder of Go For ItRecords, Kayncee. In 2020, Lil’ Nate has performed as supporting actfor thelegendary Hip-Hop group DasEFX at New Cross Inn and Logic(Peoples Army) along with the likes of RodneyP and Amy True at Brixton Jamm in addition to playing at Hastings Fat Tuesday for the 2nd year running and being booked to perform at festivals such as Threshold, Readipop, Haslemere Fringe and great Escape.
