LŪNA

Spawned from the bogs of the midlands and fostered by the forest's fauna, LŪNA emerge.

Formed in the depths of a global health pandemic, LŪNA’s Antheny and Owls first planted the seed for this project under the flashing strobes of an Amsterdam Techno night. The brief conversation would soon sprout into an idea with strong intent and a clear vision. Recent lock-downs have given the electronic duo the time and space to follow through on their plans of forging together their own personal influences. Drawing on inspiration from Bob Moses, Kiasmos, HVOB, Talos, The Gloaming, Four Tet, Ame, Howling and RY X, LŪNA have created a space for heavy sequencing, synthesizers, soft vocals, and guitars to co-exist. LŪNA describe their music saying, “our aim is to make emotive bangers, tunes you can lose your shit to in a forest at 3am but also hold an underlying message for you to take to sunrise “. The duo are currently working on their debut EP which is due for release this Spring 2021.
