MANY A SON

Natives of the North Coast NI, MANY A SON are a duo formed after many nights spent fireside writing songs, sea salt in the air. Ross and Jordan have honed their art, crafting stories of untold folklore and painting vivid landscapes both in their lyrics and their sound. Each release reveals a different colour of their home, mapping the old and rugged landscape.


Avid traveller Ross pens lyrics and melodies that coalesce with Jordan’s intricate guitar work and harmonies, to capture the longing of those prone to wander. An eclectic mix of musical tastes makes for a varied sound that falls somewhere in the alt-folk realm, but the duo strives to stretch those boundaries with each release. Not only do they have years of material to work from and an ambitious vision for where to take it, but they display captivating musical chemistry that needs to be seen and heard to be believed.


With two successful EPs behind them, the duo has featured on BBC Across The Line & BBC Local Voices and on playlists such as DiscoverNI. They have also played in iconic locations such as The Arcadia and Mussenden Temple. Working with one of Northern Ireland's best producers Stu Reid and having their upcoming work mastered by the legendary Drew Lavyne (John Mark Mcmillan, Josh Garrells, Dave Matthews), MANY A SON are showing no signs of slowing down.
