Mark Wilkins

Mark Wilkins is an Irish composer, songwriter and musician. A multi-instrumentalist based in Cork City, he has composed original music for live theater ( Gare Saint Lazare Players, Macnas, Theatre Lovett, Intersections), radio productions( UCC Campus Radion/RTE Lyric FM) and documentary films. In 2018 an album of original songs recorded with acclaimed vocalist Victoria Keating ( Christy Moore/Declan Sinnott) and drummer Trevor Kiely was released in the form of a series of two EPs.

In July 2020 Mark released 'Gan Focal'( Irish for wordless) a collection of instrumental pieces with a distinct roots music feel, 'Gan Focal' is currently available to download on Bandcamp and through Distrokid. It is available on i Tunes/Spotify/Deezer/Apple/iHeartradio/MediaNet and all the usual online distribution channels.

His latest release is 'Soundtracking', an album of original music composed for theatre,radio-plays and film.It
