Martina Flaherty

Martina Flaherty is a singer songwriter, voice tutor and sound therapist from Loughrea, Co Galway.
She has explored across many genres, collaborations and projects over the last few years.
Her music combines influences of blues, soul and folk with soulful vocals , fueled by themes such as living with a higher purpose, love and becoming more self-compassionate
She released a sing ''Falling Into Love'' in October 22 which went to Number 1 in the Irish Singer songwriter charts and number 15 just 24 hours after being released.
Herself and her band played Electric Picnic 22.

She was winner of The Allingham Song contest 2017.
One of her original songs “Lover “ came 2nd in The Jazz category of The International Songwriting Contest America 2012 losing out on first place to renowned jazz singer Gregory Porter
with over 16,000 entries from 112 countries. She received an honorable mention with another song
“The Dream “ in The Performance category

She came second in "The UK Song writing Contest" in 2009 with an original song called " Maybe "

She has also written two songs for Polish Singer Magda Navarette which are featured on Magdas Album “Iman “.

Herself and her 12 year old Daughter Rhianna also Won Tg4s “Feis And Blood” Series last year , a Competition to find Irelands most talented Family . They won the Final, performing an original song “The Dream “ and a Jennifer Holiday song called “And I am telling you “ .
She Launched a Single last April called “Make it Easy “ with all the proceeds goin to Goal which can be downloaded on itunes under the name Martina.
