'The past eight years have allowed us to shape new sounds and songs from our collection of compositions. We've had so much fun going through this stimulating process, from composing, arranging and recording the album.
We've been tucked away in the hills of Tipperary for the last couple of months, but for good reason. New music is on the horizon and we couldn't be more excited for it. Living together in the desolate Tipperary mountains with singer/songwriter Julia Spanu, we've built a cosy nest and gathered up what we believe to be our finest compositions to represent our upcoming album.
Collaborating with Julia has allowed us to explore the power of lyricism in composition. Once she stepped into the Moxie family, we sensed an exciting future together. Our collaboration feels like a brand new venture for Irish song and world music!
We have just begun a ten day stint in the beautiful Camden Recording Studios in Dublin and are looking forward to getting this next record to you soon.
Stay tuned--keep an eye on our posts and stories to see the process unfold.'
