“Wicklow’s Neil Byrne’s debut solo EP Sensitive Souls shows him as a classy singer of soulful pop. ‘Sadie Jones and I’ has a Philly soul vibe, classy production and a smooth vocal performance on a tasty soul-pop number. ‘Raoul and Her Ladyship’ features impeccable layered vocals, lavish strings and Byrne’s voice doing all the right things. ‘Truador’ has a bossa-lite beat, delicate acoustic guitar and croonsome backing vocals. Byrne’s work is admirably done and clearly aimed at a quality pop market”
