Neosupervital

Pop // Dublin, Dublin

Neosupervital, aka Dublin multi-instrumentalist and producer Tim O’Donovan, brings you his first new music since 2020.

It’s called Factory Presets.

Factory Presets is an 85bpm journey into the mind fueled by a fuzz guitar riff for the ages. It’s accompanied by a video conceived and directed by Belfast-based director Nicky Larkin.

As well as recently supporting Houseplants, The Police’s Stewart Copeland, George Clanton and Catching Flies, Neosupervital has previously opened for acts such as Money Mark (Beastie Boys), Thomas Dolby, Divine Comedy, ABC, St. Germain, Peter Bjorn and John, Hercules and Love Affair, Jaga Jazzist, Bob Log III, Moldy Peaches and has toured the UK and Europe as special guest of The Human League.

Neosupervital has played numerous Irish festivals including Drop Everything, Electric Picnic, Altogether Now, Indiependence, Forbidden Fruit, Kaleidoscope and Vantastival, and will be touring throughout 2025.

Neosupervital’s most recent live shows were with Houseplants in Dolan's, Limerick and the legendary Ruby Sessions, Dublin. Next scheduled live NSV outing is supporting French act Kazy Lambist in Whelan's, Dublin, then a headline show at The Star Bar, 43 Baggot St. Lwr, Dublin 2, April 12th.

Fun fact: Tim is also drummer for BellX1 and numerous other acts.

Reviews of previous Neosupervital releases:

“Has a contemporary dance floor suss…infectious, high-gloss glitter-pop…is there anybody out there who knows their way around a good synth pop tune better than O’Donovan?” The Star

“…leaving you hungry for more after the mirrorball stops spinning…fusing classic disco melodies with electronic laptop wizardry.” Hot Press

“Often augmenting his synth-laden sound with fuzzy guitar, O’Donovan’s ear for a cracking melody is as sharp as ever. With his talent for amusing lyricism also in evidence, there’s more than enough here to keep the faithful happy.” Business Post
