New Mind Line

5 people with a passion for music came together in March 2009. All members have previously been involved with bands of varied backgrounds. Contrasting syles and influences are evident in the sound of the upbeat rock noises that have transpired since.
The band were ready to get onto the live scene in early 2010 and after impressing a few people in local gigs they got their first festival slot at Vantastival in Co.Louth, playing the mainstage on Saturday afternoon.
The lure of a slot at the Benicassim Festival brought about the entry to Supajams FIB competition where they were part of 40 semi finalists from accross Europe which was narrowed down from over 2000 entries.
After some successful gigs in the Cruscin Lan and Savoy Theatre in Cork the studio beckoned to record their debut E.P titled "The Last Thing You See" which was released in the Crane Lane Theatre on 25th Sept, preceeded by air play & an interview on the Green Room on Corks 96FM. The EP is available to download on itunes and a follow up gig in Cyprus Avenue saw them support Titus Andronicus from New Jersey.
A brand new E.P will be available at the end of 2011 and the band have warmed up for it nicely by sharing the stage with The Pigeon Detectives in Cyprus Avenue. Release date for the new E.P to follow.
