Normal, bar the sword

Once upon a time, a hirsute, excitable man decided that it would be good fun to be in a fun band that played fun music because it is fun. As it transpired, some others had a similar idea, and though while sporting varying levels of facial hair, were thankfully slightly less excitable. Luckily (for them), this congregation of hair and enthusiasm played the various instruments needed to make a band. Not satisfied with a standard band setup, however, they combed the internet to find the much sought after combination of strings, beauty and a carbon fiber harp.

Having completed the now 9-piece lineup that is Normal, bar the sword, this affable assembly set out to create some interesting, exciting, fun music in between unsupressable bursts of laughter.

In November 2012, Normal, Bar The sword will release their debut EP, and will also be releasing a christmas single in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
