Olympio is cork-based rapper who was born in Lomé, Togo situated in West Africa. In his early teenage years, he started composing songs, poems, and spoken word as he found it easier to speak up about the struggles of his life through music. Olympio first started performing in youth clubs and churches. After some time Olympio formed the collective and label Outsider Ent with whom he went on to play at Electric Picnic and Indie Festival, which ultimately led to the establishment of the “Outsiders Ent Festival'' in which the Outsiders Collective collaborated with Jyellowl, Tebi Rex and Jordan Adetunji.
With songs such as 'Your Love', 'Space It' and 'Rockstar', Olympio shows a wide range of skilful talent not only in rap but also in cross-over genres as an independent artist who enjoys dabbling into various genres to explore his versatility. His music is driven by stories that reflect where he’s at in life, the challenges in his life and the community he’s a part of.
Olympio is working on his debut album and will release the first single 'EPG' in the next months.
