Oscar Mild

Oscar Mild are a four piece progressive folk band gathering from Galway, Mayo and Roscommon with seasoned members coming from a variety of backgrounds.

Galway local Philip Mc Mahon is the frontman/songwriter, Joe Padfield former front man of the math rock group 'Race the flux' is on lead guitar and has overseen recording/production/mixing of the bands first ep titled - 'The boy who fell from the sea', which will be released in 2018. On bass is Tomas Concannon, the former frontman of the rock group 'Ka tet' and on the drums is Sean Wynne, who has a long history of playing with various bands and is currently a student of BIMM college in Dublin.

The group are currently working with new indie label Umbrella Records and their first single "Sit right" was released on the 15th of December 2017.

They are playing several gigs Ireland in the coming weeks and are on the bill for both Knockanstocken and Arcadian fields festivals towards the end of summer.
