Philthy

Philthy writes and records music that is steeped in DIY punk ethics. Taking inspiration from acts as diverse as Johnny Cash and Frank Turner, Philthy has developed his own unique voice and creates songs that are equal parts drinking anthems and social comment. To date he has released two EP’s 'An EP With 3 Chords In' and 2013’s ‘Back To Sleep’ He regularly plays anywhere that will have him with his acoustic guitar in hand. Having played and toured the UK in bands since he was old enough to hold a guitar, Philthy is currently the guitarist for Irish gutter punks The Filthy Angels. The band has independently released their début album 'L.A.F.A' through a highly successful Pledge Music campaign which allowed them to fund their work through support from their ever-growing fan base.

In 2012 Philthy also became involved in a mischievous horror punk band named Cadaver Club who prides themselves in putting the fun in Funeral. More information on these bands can be found on his website philthyrock.co.uk
