Philtre

Philtre are an Irish rock band unashamedly not afraid to be the polar opposite of the achingly hip genre tickling the underbelly of Ireland.

Refining their sound with melodic riffing, aggressive vocals and addictive choruses their music has been described as infectious alternative rock.

The band are currently recording their debut album with single “Paper Thin” due for nationwide release in late autumn.

No strangers to the live music scene, featuring in Murphy’s Live and National Student Music Awards and shared many a stage with renowned artists as Delorentos, Republic of Loose, The Blizzards and Reamonn.

Lead track from their debut ep “Bullet from Nowhere” has been featured on Setanta Sports and RTE Sunday Game.
