Plantain Papi

Plantain Papi is a talented artist from North Dublin, known for his skills as a vocalist, music producer, and mix engineer. Since beginning his musical journey in 2017, he has since independently released numerous singles and features, amassing over a million streams, including his most recent EP titled, 'Still Healing'.

Some notable career highlights include nominations for multiple awards and a coveted spot on the RTE 2FM Rising List. Plantain has solidified his presence in the industry by repeatedly collaborating with diverse brands and businesses such as Jameson, Sons, Mcino and Cola Waves.

A maverick in the studio, Plantain has been behind the boards on multiple records that have had major success on streaming platforms and social media.

Plantain Papi is no stranger to commanding audiences. From sold-out headline shows to electrifying performances at major festivals such as Longitude, Trinity Ball, and All Together Now. Notably, he has graced renowned venues such as 3Arena, The Academy, Button Factory, Cyprus Avenue Cork, Whelans, the Soundhouse, and many more.

In a visionary move, Plantain Papi, alongside his manager Joy, launched PlantainSound in 2020. This collaborative venture serves as a creative collective that not only nurtures talent but also provides invaluable opportunities. Functioning as both a management company and record label, PlantainSound proudly houses some of Ireland's finest artists, including F3miii, Sophie Jane, and B4bzy. Together, they continue to shape the future of Irish music, elevating the industry to new heights.
