"A really nice mix of sci-fi soundtrack ambience and early 80s industrial" - Nick Luscombe, Late Junction, BBC Radio 3
Incorporating the instruments of the world with the sounds of the future, Pleth Aura is a largely instrumental electronic one-woman-project which aims to promote the actions of self-writing, recording and producing. Pleth Aura was created by Tiarna Armstrong in April 2016 and cites Grimes, Tangerine Dream and Thom Yorke as being her main influences for the project.
Armstrong released her debut album ‘The Computer Did It’ in September 2016 which she wrote, recorded and produced herself over the course of the summer months. ‘The Computer Did It’ is an evocative instrumental synth-based concept record dealing with the themes of a corrupt society and dystopian future and accentuates the fear, panic and paranoia that many people face living in today’s world. The album is available to stream to purchase at Bandcamp.
