Rebecca Winckworth

Irish singer-songwriter, Rebecca Winckworth, has graced the world's most prestigious stages, from Beijing, to Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, to New York and everywhere between.

She was a longstanding member of Anúna, the original Riverdance singers, with whom she toured the world and recorded numerous PBS TV shows including “Christmas Memories”, and several award-winning projects including the soundtrack for Diablo III, a video game which has sold over 30 million copies to date.

As a soloist and lead singer, Rebecca has toured globally, in particular across the USA, with shows such as Ragús, Titanic Dance and Celtic Nights. She was special guest performer with Billboard #1 Group Celtic Woman on their PBS TV Special “Destiny" in 2016, the album of which was nominated for a Grammy award.

During the pandemic, she founded Citizens of Song, a virtual concert series that included over 500 world-class artists and 130,000 audience members across the globe.

In recent years, Rebecca has lent her voice to a range of diverse projects, including the animated TV series “Dapinty”, which garnered a nomination for the prestigious International Emmy Awards in 2022. Notably, she also held an executive role with the production, further showcasing her multifaceted talents.

While primarily based in Medellín, Colombia, Rebecca frequently travels to produce and perform shows both in her native Ireland and abroad.

Last year, she embarked on a special journey with her Colombian musicians, bringing her show titled 'The Long Road - My Musical Journey Through Latin America' to a captivated audience in Dublin. Rebecca plans to tour this show once again in 2023 - 2024 across Europe and the USA.

Rebecca is now focusing on bringing her original music and shows to audiences across the world. Her release “Sister’s Love” was chosen as RTE Culture’s Tune of the Week in June 2023.
