Rejoycean

Take the entire 15 short stories from James Joyce's Dubliners and write 15 songs inspired by the stories. This was the genesis of Rejoycean, a musical project from John Prendergast. What started off as basically a novel way to spur creativity yielded a method of writing and expression that John felt comfortable with . Through using the characters and their stories as a lens to often interpret and reflect on his own life experience, John has written, recorded and begun releasing songs as Rejoycean, a project in which the focus is on rejoicing in the process.
