Rob de Boer is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and label founder from Dublin, Ireland. His music crosses multiple genres, jazzy and soulful with evocative narratives at the forefront. He has been recognised for his smooth vocals, diverse influences and particular visual aesthetic.
Rob has played an extensive run of live shows both solo and with his band around Ireland. He translated the storming streaming success of his debut single 'Little Big Brother' with festival appearances at Forbidden Fruit, All Together Now and Electric Picnic. He has played sold out shows at Dublin's Lost Lane and most recently The Lighthouse & The Big Romance. Summer of 2022 will see him performing live at All Together Now and Another Love Story.
Rob released his debut EP, Early Light in 2021. Across the 6 tracks he captured the energy and vibrancy of his electric live performances on a record which still maintains the intimacy of his lyrical storytelling. He is currently working hard on his first album, due for release in 2023.
Rob co-founded his own independent label, Cracked Skulls Records in 2020 and also fulfils the roles of drummer and producer for label acts Papa Romeo and FRANK ZING. He is a passionate photographer, film maker and event curator.
