Honing their live skills on the Irish circuit, RUN iN RED have been described as ‘urgency transcribed into music’ and deliver indie rock through a wall of harmonic layers and musical dynamics.
With members from Derry, Galway and Naas, the Dublin based band played their biggest headline show to date at LoSt LaNe in Dublin last July coinciding with the release of ‘Dirty Spirits Design’.
Following that they played more shows across Ireland, the US and UK which kicked off at the start of June. This led into the recording and release of their last single ‘i Want It All To Stay’ shortly after the addition of their newest member Luke, in October.
With airplay from TodayFM, 2FM, FM104 and BBC Radio Foyle, the band have also been featured as JOE.ie’s ’Song of The Day’ twice for two of their previous singles which are available on all digital platforms and stocked in Tower Records and Golden Discs.
Having supported Pillow Queens, Makings and Jamie Adam and taken the main stage at the Button Factory, Whelans and The Soundhouse, 2020 was shaping up to be a big year for the band with the recording of two new singles already underway and a mini tour of Ireland scheduled for June and July. Dates that have had to be postponed include supporting Alexis Kings in LoSt LaNe, playing at the Searchlight Showcase in the Button Factory and a slot for the second year at Something In the Water Festival in July.
The band are now using this time to write and record their first album, and have a co-headline show already booked in Lost Lane for December 5th, 2020.

"The song itself is an infectious melody which will remain in your head for a time after hearing it. It's good solid indie-pop and has a chorus which will be sung lustily by their fans when they bring it to the live setting of a gig." Eric Lalor, JOE.ie
"...the chorus is something that you could definitely imagine yourself roaring back to the band in a big sing-a-long.” Darragh Berry, JOE.ie
