Dublin's SCATTERED ASHES are an abrasive and angular postpunk duo defined by urgent guitars and prophetic vocals. After forming in early 2021, the band received immediate support and airplay from Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 6) and KEXP upon the release of their debut single 'Love Is Not An Option.'
The hype created from the international attention led to their first physical release 'The Parallel Lines EP' selling out completely within its first week in Rough Trade stores across the UK. 2022 opened up with them listed as one of the Hot Press ‘Hot for 2022’ and saw the release of ‘Feral’ to much critical acclaim landing on major Spotify Official playlists All New Punk, Melomania, All New Rock, and The Punk List.
The band followed this in 2023 with a string of sellout headline UK/IRE dates alongside supports with She Past Away, Clan of Xymox, The Chameleons and She Wants Revenge, major festival appearances at Beyond The Pale, Sea Sessions and Electric Picnic Festival, as well as a 2FM live session with Dan Hegarty.
2024 saw the touring up and down the UK with Meryl Streek, being named as one of Louder magazine's '10 Irish Artists You Should Be Listening To In 2024', as-well as being selected as one of the Spotlight artists of 2024 by The Unsigned Guide. The year also saw the release of 'Kingdom' to much fanfare along with the band performing their very first BBC Introducing Session.
The band opened up 2025 being invited to perform at the prestigious New Colossus Festival in NYC, a five-day industry showcase festival and conference. After New York the band are set to embark on a series of high profile European dates including appearances at Supersonic Block Party Festival in Paris, and Post Punk Strikes Again in Porto.
